The latest insights for publishers, from our team
Prebid has marked version 10 as legacy, so the project’s attention (new adapters, fixes and module work) has moved on to 11. If you run your own wrapper and you don’t upgrade, you’ll soon start to notice adapters no longer…
Publishers can now create and manage their own API credentials directly from the Tradecore settings page. What changed A new settings page lets publishers create read-only API credentials for accessing Tradecore analytics data. Credentials can be created, viewed and revoked…

A set of fixes across the Tradecore UI and platform backend that tighten up the day-to-day experience. What was fixed: The settings icon in the top menu now appears for all admin users who have the right permissions, not just…
Tradecore’s analytics now capture a more complete and more accurate picture of what happens in every auction, from attempt through to outcome. What changed: Auction attempts are now measured at the point they start, across all wrapper types. No-bid responses…
What changed: Tradecore serves floor model data directly, pre-loading it before the auction starts with a configurable delay window to make sure data is available before bids go out. Floor rules can be set per media type, with separate handling…
If you run an app that shows web pages carrying Google ads, this one is aimed at you, even if you have never thought of yourself as an app monetisation business. Google has started sending compliance emails to publishers about…
Tradecore now runs Prebid 10 and has added four new demand adapters, bringing more competition to every auction. What changed: Prebid 10 support is live (build 10.29.0). Adapters for InMobi, SmileWanted, Magnite and Microsoft have been added across the relevant…
Better standards compliance, faster creative delivery, and floor enforcement in video pods. What changed The outstream player now signals support for OMID 1.0 (viewability measurement), SIMID 1.0 (interactive media), VAST 4.1 and VAST 4.2. It also signals playback state to…
Viewability comes up in almost every conversation we have with publishers. Someone on the commercial side has been told by an agency that their viewability rate needs to improve and the first suggestion is always the same: lazy load the…
Tradecore’s Prebid wrapper is now running version 10.29.0. The update has been deployed across all publisher properties. This update crosses a major version boundary from the 9.x series into 10.x, so the cumulative changes are noteworthy. Below is a summary…
Bids that were previously dropped between auction close and creative render are now recovered and put back into competition. What changed A timing gap between the auction closing and the ad server making its final selection could cause valid bids…

The programmatic industry has spent two decades nurturing and normalising a fractured ecosystem. Publishers have been forced to jerry-rig siloed solutions into a “Frankenstack” of tech that was never designed to work together. While this fragmentation serves the interests of…
Bid requests now include substantially more contextual and audience signal, giving demand partners better data to bid on and publishers better CPMs in return. What changed: Tradecore now passes device-level geo data (region, city, Google metro/DMA code where available) in…
